Frozen Mazda limp

Some 2009 Mazda6 2.5L and 2010 Mazda3 2.0L vehicles (2010 models built before Aug. 1, 2009) may experience a MIL illumination with DTC P2100:00 (Throttle Valve Actuator Circuit Open).

Engine won’t start in park

On some 2004-2011 Mazda3 vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, the shift position lamp in the instrument cluster does not illuminate in the “P” position, and the engine does not start.

Mazda wire chafe

Some 2007-2009 Mazda 3 (not including Mazdaspeed3) and 2007-2010 Mazda5 vehicles with VINs lower than JM1CR******367196 (produced before November 6, 2009 may experience the MIL on with DTC P0131/P2251 because the A/F sensor connector bracket contacts and damages the sensor harness.

Mazda check valve

Some Mazda vehicles may experience a MIL that comes on with DTC P2004 (variable tumble shutter valve stuck open). The cause may be the check valve in the intake manifold vacuum chamber being stuck open. The check valve has now been updated.
